CHERONDA L. HESTER FEATURED BUSINESS INTERVIEW

Cheronda Hester

Title: CEO (Push Power Boss)

YRS. IN BUSINESS : 22 YEARS OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP

COMPANY: PUSH POWER ENTERPRISE INC.

Website: www.pushpowerboss.com

Tell us about your business. Be sure to include why you started your business and what products, solutions, and services you provide for consumers. Who is your target audience?

Push Power Enterprise is a company to empower women to help them know their worth. I started this business to help women and young ladies with self- awareness, self- growth, and self-esteem. Push Power is dear to my heart because when going through life I remember desiring these products, solutions, and services that we render.

We provide knowledge, direction, and awareness through books, workshops, seminars, programs, one on one counseling, and mentorship. Developing women to add value to their present and futuristic spheres of influence.

What or who has been your greatest influence in business and why?

My greatest influence in business was my aunt Sylvia Cannon. I watched her start a business from scratch. I never seen her intimidated by others that was doing it or not doing it. Most of all she never missed a beat as a wife, mom, and leader in ministry.

What does entrepreneurship mean to you and why did you step into this arena?

When I think of entrepreneurship I think of POWER! The purpose of me stepping into this arena is because I want to help the one no one else will help. Push the one no one feel is worth pushing. Being an entrepreneur allows me to qualify the unqualified.

What would you say is your greatest win in business?

My greatest win is having the opportunity to hire a young lady that had all odds against her and on paper she was unqualified. Being an entrepreneur, I was able to give her a fresh start. While being with my company I assist her with getting her GED, cosmetology license, and giving her life to Christ!!!! Not, only was her life changed, but her children lives were changed as well.

What’s the best advice you have received in business that you wish to pass on to our readers?

What advice can I pass on to others never stop believing in yourself. Never stop cultivating your gift and remember just because your gift made room for you your character has to keep you there.

What has been the most effective marketing initiatives or programs you have used to promote your business?

The most effective marketing for me was word of mouth and social media platforms.

What have you learned as a business owner and entrepreneur that you can pass on to others seeking this position or just started out in business?

What can I pass on to other entrepreneurs? I would tell them to make sure you cross your T’s and dot your I’s. Then, remember every client is different. Treat people the way you want to be treated. Take every moment as a seed and ask yourself what harvest will you receive? Abundance, lack, shame, new client, more open doors, or shut doors your seed determine your harvest.

Do you have any new projects coming up (or have you just completed a big project ~ reached a milestone, etc.)? If so, please tell us about it.

Yes, I just recently did a major event entitled Push Your Vision which was a life changing event to the women that attended. I also just released my 1st of many Push Power Boss Planner + Journal. I also have four plus projects coming up. The release of Push Power Boss Daily Decrees, Push Power Boss Prayer Journal, Push Your Vision part 2 “It’s Half Time”, Push Power Boss Anthology, and Look Up You Win.

Who are you behind the business? Tell us who you are when no one is looking. What do you do for fun/relaxation? What’s your favorite vacation spot to unwind?

Behind Push Power Boss, is a disciple of Christ, an incredibly supportive wife to Apostle Marlon D. Hester Sr., a mom to seven beautiful children, a Senior Leader, a daughter to four amazing parents, the oldest of three siblings, a loving aunt of five, and a credit specialist to many.

Well for me what you see is what you get. I am the same around people as I am by myself.

I love watching love movies, cooking, traveling, being outdoors, reading and most of all laughing and fellowshipping with my family.

I absolutely love taking cruises. I unwind because it is a carefree getaway!!

What’s at the top of your list of Goals you plan to accomplish over the next year.

My list of goals is opening up an online store. I would like to sell motivational digital products and a youth mentorship club.

Are you an author? If so, tell us about your books or book. Titles, and where we can purchase.

Yes, I am an author of Push Power Boss Journal + Planner and more to come as I mentioned before. You can purchase @ www.pushpowerboss.com and also on Amazon.

I want to write a book about my dad being my superhero. He has been a huge blessing in my life, and I will be sharing his story.

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?

ARNETTA LANE FEATURED BUSINESS INTERVIEW

ARNETTA LANE FEATURED BUSINESS INTERVIEW

Arnetta L. Lane

CEO/Blogger/Author/Writer

Years in Business: 10
COMPANY: Life with Lane
WEBSITE URL: http://www.lifewithlane.net
Tell us about your business. Be sure to include why you started your business and what products, solutions, and services you provide for consumers. who your target audience is. What does entrepreneurship mean to you and why did you step into this arena?

My name is Arnetta Lane and I started Life with Lane because I wanted to share my life experiences with others in hope to inspire others. My tagline is, “Doing things that matter!” I try to write about and post things that matter, things that are important, that will help the lives of others! I typically target woman in my age group and similar background. However, I seem to have an audience of all ages and backgrounds. Why? Because I spread positivity and realness, and everyone loves that. Most of my post are positive and helpful and everyone needs that. I have Life with Lane mask. I will soon have shirts, scarves, and armbands! Being an entrepreneur means working overtime in the beginning and in the end. It means doing things your way and making sure you are the best at what you do. It means only being your own boss and only being upset with yourself with things don’t go right. Holding only yourself accountable! Its all on you! My greatest influence honestly has been myself. My mother is an amazing human and she’s always my reason for wanting to be successful. However, I’ve always have an entrepreneurial mind since I was a child. I always knew I wanted to be my own boss and have my own business. I don’t do well taking orders from others. I think my intelligence prevents me from doing that, lol! I have a daytime job still at the moment but I’m a server which is great for business minded people. There’s a lot of freedom in being a server! I won’t be doing this much longer though. Thank God!

What would you say is your greatest win in business? Developing a service and product that people love. Making people happy and being happy is the greatest win. Having people email me saying how something I wrote uplifted them and gave them hope is such a beautiful thing. Having people tell me my mask and tagline make them happy and they want to buy more for friends and family. Having people ask when more products are coming out because they can’t wait to purchase is a win also!

What’s the best advice you have received in business that you wish to pass on to our readers? The best advice I’ve received is something I saw posted online the other day. It said, “Just because friends and family don’t support you, doesn’t mean you have to cancel your business!” Why is this important? Because perfect strangers can support you and you don’t always need family and friends. Follow your dreams and never give up. Others don’t have to support your dreams, it’s your dream!

What has been the most effective marketing initiatives or programs you have used to promote your business? I actually have only been using my social media platforms. Up to this point is has worked out great. Social media is an amazing platform and its free. Word of mouth has also been one of the biggest marketing tools. I have amazing people in my life. I have a great support team.

What have you learned as a business owner and entrepreneur that you can pass on to others seeking this position or just started out in business? I’m a writer, blogger, and author so I say just go for it. Just write and put yourself out there. I’ve been very successful just from talking to random people. I’m constantly promoting myself and telling people what I do. You never know who you’re going to meet!

Are there any resources or tools you’d like to share with other small business owners that have helped you run your business? I’m my best marketing tool because I know my business better than anyone. I wear my own Life with Lane mask and shirts. I post my work constantly. I can’t say that I’ve reached out and used a certain resource other than social media.

Do you have any new projects coming up (or have you just completed a big project ~ reached a milestone, etc.)? I have a book of poems and an anthology coming out later in the year. I also have Life with Lane shirts, scarves, and armbands coming out in a few weeks. I recently reached 1100 followers for my blog! I’m very excited about that. My stats have been going up consistently since the new year started!

Who are you behind the business? Behind the business I’m still a business minded woman, lol! Always thinking of new ideas.

Tell us who you are when no one is looking. A girl that likes to dance and sing around the house, lol!

What do you do for fun/relaxation? I love to read, sing, dance, drink wine, and travel!

What’s your favorite vacation spot to unwind? I love traveling so I’m not sure where my favorite spot is. Maybe any beach. I love the beach!

What’s at the top of your list of Goals you plan to accomplish over the next year? Gain 1000 new followers for my blog. Publish both of my books. Launch more Life with Lane products. Get more clients to write for.

Are you an author? Yes, I’m an author but I can’t remember the link to my book on Amazon, so to be continued.

You want to write a book on pretty much all the things I experience in life. I want to write romance novels, fantasy books (dragons, fairies, etc), books about business, etc!

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers? I’m a businesswoman that wants to build an empire and share my success with others. I want to spread positivity and hope. I want to and this is my tagline, “Do things that matter!”

What’s the best way for our readers to connect with you?

I can be reached on my website www.lifewithlane.net arnettalane1980@gmail.com Arnetta_lane@yahoo.com and through my social media pages @Lifewithlane14 and @Lashaunlee36 via Instagram

Unfortunately, her diagnoses was in the late stages and there were very few solutions to save her life. Through this non-profit I provide a community and a space for conversations concerning HPV that are not frequent in the healthcare industry. I realized there were thousands, or millions of people dealing with symptoms of HPV and have very little resources. HPV is one of the topics that is unpopular in the cancer family.
